How it is calculated

Monthly production ≈ kW × peak sun hours × 30 × 0.8 (system losses). Self-used kWh save your full retail rate; exported kWh earn your retailer’s feed-in tariff. Payback = cost ÷ yearly savings.

Results are estimates for planning, not bills or professional advice. For generator hookups use a transfer switch installed by a licensed electrician.
